I need a pic of the rear of an SKS gas tube. I am attempting to modify one that doesn't fit so it will work. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. My gas tube looks just like that, but the lever will come no where near locking.

File the gas tube locking surface already. See the flat spot below the op-rod hole in the upside down pic above, that is the surface the lock cams against to lock the gas tube in. Yours needs to be filed to fit.

Are you refering to the top of the gas tube, which is on the bottom of the pic? Should it be filed flat or at an angle?

Yes, he is.  Looking at the pic, you want to work off the surface that is on the bottom.  You want to put a slight angle on the tube, so that the cam can lock it in place.  If you can put the tube on the gun in the right spot, you should be able to see where the cam is making contact.  That's where you need to relieve the tube slightly to give it clearance.  Test-fit often, because you want to remove as little material as possible.
