I need input on what to make my next big purchase. I can't afford it now, but I need to pick one of the following to set a goal for/work for:

www.dsarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=SA58STD&storeid=1&image=sa58std.gif

or

rapidfire.targetweb.net/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi/agora.cgi?cart_id=7807641.21423*-L7pj7&p_id=01944&xm=on&ppinc=big

Now, of I course I realize that the obvious answer is to "buy 'em both." Well, duh. But you see, I don't have a tree in the backyard that has $100 bills for leaves (unlike, it seems, many people here) so I can only afford one for quite some time. Which one is more "at risk" to run out/cease production in 2 years?

I hate decisions!

Ooof...a Galil....

You've certainly got a delimma, don't you?

I would say the Galil will be the most likely to be out-of-production before the DSA FAL. So go with the Galil.

But if you already own a .223 (AR15) you might want to go with a full size battle rifle. Go with the FAL.

So "Buy them both" is the only real option you have.

Yes, that is true, I already do have an AR...then again, I also have an AK and an M1A...

This is not going to be easy...

And if - God willing (God forbid?) - a US-made AUG comes out for roughly the same price, looks like I'm gonna be a (well-armed) homeless bum.

LOL

I know what you mean. So many cool toys, so little green.

I'm with 50cal on this one - when in doubt, get the FAL....
