Any word on good aftermarket mags becoming available?

There's still some PMI around.  I suggest you get those before they are gone.  A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

are there anybody making new ones?
i would think that with prices of originals and the 40+ on PMI, there would be a market in making post 2004 mini 14 mags near th 15-0 range.

Ruger is restricting their LEO only mags.  PMI went out of business a decade ago.  There's new hicaps out there but I've not heard any good reports.

So, Ruger and PMI are still pretty much it as far as I know.  Who knows? Maybe you will get lucky.<G>

I know Ramline is a dirty word around here, but for what its worth I believe they are making 30 rounders again.  I think I saw them in a Natchez shooters supply catalog for about $18.  I have about 12 30 rounders for my mini from about 4 different manufacturers and the most reliable one I had was the ramline.  I bought it about 1992.  Then about 2 years ago I dropped it fully loaded on concrete and it busted in half.

I've got several good Ramlines too.  I did get one made right before the ban that isn't glued well and it spreads apart and dumps the rounds out.  I was going to send that one back to them but just never got a round tuit.<G>
