I'm looking for a Mauser bayonet to give my dad for christmas. He's got one of the early war models I think. Does one bayonet fit all models made during WWII? Anyone know where I can find one?

Look in Shotgun News. There's an ad in there that's 2-3 pages long for this sort of stuff. And no, not all Mausers take the same blade, AFAIK.

what country is the mauser from? the turk bayonets are longer and cheaper. german one's can get expensive if they're all matching.
