I would like to find a good gunsmith who does high quality work in cutting and recrowning a barrel. I’ve got a Remington 700 BDL that I would really like to turn into a 20-inch carbine and remount the front sight, just need to find the gunsmith to do it. I know of a few different great gunsmiths, but they don’t do work like this on these kinda weapons. I also know of a few different hacks that would be happy to do the work, but I need this done 100% right, not with a rusty ban saw and a Dremel tool.
