Where are all the SAR-3 's ?? I have not scene one for sale for a while and am thinking about buying one .

Either occasionally on EE, or start with a $220 Saiga in 5.56 and do the hicap conversion. Help is on the Russian forum on the AK board here.

there's one in my safe If you find one, be sure to replace the hammer....that nasty stock US one will peen the end of the bolt and firing pin. Powers Custom makes a replacement that hits nice and square.

Correct. Centiry & the Romanians had a falling out of sorts...
No more SAR-series imports...
Just WASRs, which get de-neutered (Hi-cap re-converted) quite poorly by CAI...

Gun- Doctor in IL has one, I think its around the 400 range. Really clean one too.
I doubt you'll find one that cheap anymore. Personally if you want a .223 AK I'd come up with a few extra $$ and get an Arsenal SAM-5 instead. Milled Bulgarian quality too.
