Hey all. I bought A simmons 3-9X50 Blazer riflescope. I have 2 questions: 1 -- How do I know if the tube is 30mm or 1 inch? 2 --- I was going to get Simmons High scope mounts (weaver base) but the Simmons claims they are only for 42mm to 48mm lenses.... Mine's a 50mm Is there anyone else that makes high mounts (weaver base style) for 50mm objectives or will the Simmons work fine? tim |

The tube, it's 1". First, it depends on the gun it's going on. Some of the websites (or possibly a local sporting goods shop) has a fitting guide if you have popular gun. Rem. Win. Sav. Etc. You will find X-tra highs from a lot of makers. There are TONS of mounts out there. If you are new to mounts. It would probably be best to go the gun shop route. That way you KNOW it's right.
