| Does any one have pictures of one of these customized with parts like a forward grip or lights, scopes, etc? Also, I want to get one in the S&W model 59 set up...do the hi caps from Cheaper than dirt work well in either the SW gun or in these? Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Yes! Yes! It will be hard coat anodized BLACK! and we RADIUSED all the edges... and we countersunk the screws FLUSH. Still working on final tool paths, etc. but it looks like we will get it to retail for well under $100 ready to install with A2 post, spring and detent. We'll offer a Trijicon post and probably the XS(formerly AO) front post as well. The XS is especially nice on this little gun. Here is my SUB-2000 (Glock-mag-compatible) with an M3 Streamlight in the 3 o'clock position. I removed the handguard & drilled two small holes to accommodate the mount (that is the standard AR-15 handguard mount from Streamlight). It is very quick to install or remove but locks solidly in place and, as you can see, neither the mount nor the light interfere with folding/unfolding the carbine.     (FWIW, I have a similar set-up on my wife's SUB-9 [S&W mags] except I installed the mount through an existing slot rather than drill the two holes - this method feels much more secure & I plan to do the same to hers whenever I get around to it.) |
