| Does anyone know anything about the origional Bushmaster? I found one for sale for $650, but I have no ideal if this is worth it. It really does not look like a true AR15....more like an AK variant. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

It uses a Ak type gas piston with AR mags. Be forewarned, that many of these old bushies (I've owned several) were built with M-16 Fire control parts. I'm not sure of the ATF's stance on this, but it can't be good. FWIW, mine have always been reliable as an AK and accurate as an AR. Best of both worlds. I did have on that would double, triple and quadruple  alot, but that was just wear and tear.
