I got a good deal on a new scope but it is silver and i want matte black. How would i go about painting it? any suggestions?

I read a bunch of posts on this subject a good while back. It may have been on this site. Do a search on the AR15 forum optics board. That would be my best guess. Anyway, it can be done but one obviously has to be careful.
