| Does anyone here have one? Are they built like the old Python's? Are they really worth $1000? I've fired an old python and enjoyed, but the new ones are pretty darn pricey for a revolver. |

I'm hearing a range of opinion from "Nice, but too expensive and not as well fitted and finished as the older guns", to "Way over priced, poor fit and finish". Colt's old Python assemblers are all retired or gone, and it takes a VERY experienced person to build a Python. Without these people, standards would have to drop. I'll reserve my opinion until I get inside one. |
