I just got an M9 Bayo and it the ring on the handguard of the M9 doesn't seem to fit over the Phantom FH. Anyone else have this problem? Any way I can "Trim" the inside of that Flash Hider loop?

Sounds like you got one of the Chinese knock-off M9s, and this is a common problem with them.  Older ones had a little dimple that would prevent you putting the bayonet on.  Maybe they're making the ring smaller now.  Use a Dremel or a big round file and open it up a bit.

I think Thats what I will do with the Dremel. Should I use spray paint or something else to coat the inside of the loop to prevent rust?
