Good afternoon everyone.  I'm looking for information on slings for my AR.  I don't know where to look for a quality sling.  I'd like to purchase one that "hangs" the rifle in the "ready" position as I hate shoulder slings.  I hunt in eastern Montana and do a lot of walking for 'yotes.  Any recommendations are appreciated.
Thank you,

Check out the CQB Solutions sling.  I have 4 (3 AR's and 1 AK) and have nothing for praise about the product.  I especially like the "mountain climber's" carry for when navigating some sort of obstacle where I need both hands free and my weapon not flopping around.

CQB Solutions SOP Sling. 1.5" wide sling material and soft so it will not cut into you.

I personally use the CQB HST slings with a single point mount.

Check out the Turner slings over at Georgia Precision.  One of the best made....

Sounds like you're looking for a patrol carry sling. CQB Solutions or the Wilderness Giles sling. I have both and they're basically the same except the nylon in the CQB slings is slightly softer. I mostly use a hasty carry though. Go figure.

The CQB sling is just what the doc. ordered.  Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
