Time for a new gun. I have picked out all the weapons that fit me best and feel at home with a shotgun more so that anyother gun. I shoot better with it and I'm faster, ect, ect Needless to say it's the gun for me but this means everything passed 100 yards is out of reach if I don't add something to the gun safe. I have had FNs,ARs,G3s,8mm,7mm,308,30-06,7.62X39,45-70,.50cal(wish I still did) and a host of over goodies but I would really like something new. What are some other rifle ideas? All I will really do with it shoot at the rang and from time to time I'm asked to go hunting and every now and then I'll go. The bigger the better I like big stuff (Edited to chang years to yards so maybe you guys can under stand what the heck I'm talking about )

I have something that less than 15 people in the country own. A 51K that is registered as a pistol. It's treated the same as an SP-89. There were less than 15 made. It's a 5" barreled, 20 shot, .308 pistol. I've been milling over selling it but, i'm not sure yet. http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/ViewImage.dll?userid=TheMaster&album_id=69468&image_id=24&courtesy=1 http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/ViewImage.dll?userid=TheMaster&album_id=69468&image_id=34&courtesy=1 |

Get a Bolt Action Rifle in one of the following calibers: 7mm WSM 300 WSM 338 Lapua 375 H&H Magnum 416 Rigby (better be prepared to handload your own ammo for the last 3 choices..factory ammo is too expensive). Oh yeah..a fun gun is the Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70. It is a very short lever action with a ported barrel. Very handy. Also Gibbs Rifle makes a varient of the Lee Enfield chambered in 45-70. Because it is a Bolt Action you can load it up to be hotter than your standard factory load. But not too hot! :) |
