Gents, I was just looking at my collection and I must say it has grown to 7 ARs. I have spent a great deal of money in my gear. I love ARs and yes I have other rifles. I just love the AR15. My question is how much is too much? If you can please post pics. BTW I promised myself no more guns this year but I am feeling weak. ![]() Max |

Damn, you guys are a bad influence. I am in debt because of this. It's alright though because I do love my ARs. What about FN FALs? I never really liked the way they look or feel. Good rifles bit not for me. I'll stick with my M1A, hmmmmmmm maybe I should look into an AR10? ![]() max |
Debt, yes..... not just AR's........ mainly them though....CAV-15's actually. |
The Cav15 will spoil you. If you like to take it on hikes or back packing, they are very light. They are fun to shoot and simple to assemble. A complete rifle for $600 is not bad either. Good luck, Tom |

max, i've got four working rifles and two stripped lowers; it's not all that i want. 1. a "C.A.R." w/ 11.5" bbl and 5.5" suppressor. 2. set up as flat top HBAR Sporter with scope. 3. HBAR Sporter with A1 20" upper. 4. An original SP1 colt (1972 and not a scratch) 5. stripped D.P.M.S. lower 6. stripped OLY lower. Still, I want: 1. an M4-gery 2. A genuine COLT CARBINE (i don't mean a gov't carbine, see the one that 'cactus jack' bought, and the one purchased by 'FRO' in the boards). 3. An colt AR-15A2 (just cause i want one) 4. and as mentioned above, not to confuse the two, a colt government carbine then of course along the way, as i go through life and attend gun shows, or hoard tax refunds every year, and i see something i like, i will buy it. a man can not have too many AR's, i love them too. When i'm an old man, (i'm 33 now) i hope to have at least a dozen of different kinds. colt this list doesn't include the AR-10's that i want!!!! |

well.., i got 9 in the safe & 3 in the mail !!! that Colt Carbine is the sweetest lyttle thyng you ever laid your hands on, my wife says, "it's a cute lyttle thyng, isn't it ?" & yes it is still NIB, welllllll, actually the box is in the top of my den closet, so i guess it wud be more appropriate to say it is NIS.... my pre-ban unblocked green label Gov't Carbine will be here next week, & i just can not wait, it also has a Colt tactical optic sight on it too..... |

If I had the financial resources to procure and properly store them, I could easily see myself owning at least a dozen or so collectible pre-ban Colt AR15s. But as ones meant to be used on a regular basis, it's difficult for me to see the need for more than 3-4, or maybe 5, AR15s. Even at those numbers it becomes a chore to clean and maintain them all. Out of my 5 AR15s, I shoot 3 on a regular basis; AR15-A2 fullsize government model, M4 carbine with both 5.56 and 7.62x39 upper receiver assemblies, and a 7.62x39 AR15-A2 carbine. |
I don't know if any of them are as addicting as this one. |
| I own 2 ARs right now. I wanted a AR Sniper Rifle, M4gery, and standard AR15 20". All I need is the Standard. I looked in my safe, all I need now is a machine gun. I thought about selling/trading my other guns for a auto. MP5, M16, or something. I want a G36K, but they don't sell them to civilians. |

are you asking silly questions like that?
