It seems that I have to replace the fire control parts, I went to the range and it was double firing. My question is....

Since this Sporter II has a large pivot pin hole, What size pins are in the trigger group assembly?

Standard size or Colt non-standard size?

Serial number is 3475xx

Thanks

Mine (also a SP2) was doing this as well, however I haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet.

Cool! Mine doesn't do that. Can I have your old parts?

Sure! It fires when you pull the trigger and it fires when you let the trigger go.

The trigger group pins are standard size in the Sporter II.  I have two and they both have standard milspec trigger and hammer pins.  There is a Colt that has a milspec trigger pin and a large hammmer pin but I can not remember which one.  With Colt, anything is possible.
