I finally went out and bought my first AR-15 yesterday.  I bought a new Bushmaster A2 with the fixed "collapsible" stock and muzzle break (I can't remember which, not the AK)  They threw in two 30 round mags with the deal.  I got it for $759.00.  Did I do all right?  Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who provided all of the info so I got the best deal on the best rifle.  Now I have to go buy some bullets and get it sighted in.  Thanks for your help!

$759 is right on pricing for that, you did very well.

Let's see, now you have to get more magazines, ammo, extra uppers, tactical sling, magpulls, it's a long list . . .

All you need now is a bunch more mags, lots of ammo and a copy of Unintended Consequences. I'm just joking! you need LOTS and LOTS of ammo!!! Good luck and be safe. Remember, always treat a firearm as if it were loaded, ALWAYS!

Sorry Bob, but when it comes to sex, I am looking for QUANTITY not QUALITY. Ill stick with the AR15 and 30 rounders. All my .308s are collecting dust because I am too cheap to feed them.
