Well, I knew I was in trouble when I saw Alexander Arms setting up across from us (Cav Arms) in the vendor tents. by that afternoon I just could not take it any more.
I was able to go shoot the Ghengis (SP?) (5.45x39) and I love it, I put a couple mags through it, worked great. I watched a few hundred rounds go down range in that caliber. I liked it so much, that after alot of begging, pleading, worshiping, and being the 1st in line also helped....I left the BRC with my very own 5.45x39 upper!!!!!!! hot dam.
As far as the 50 beowolf goes....well I compared it to my Tromix 50AE which I had with me, it kicks just a little more then the 50AE, but is really fun. the one unfortunate thing is that I have to wait for 28days before it will arrive...this is a very popular upper.
I now have to get some optics for these and do a formal range evaluation. The day I fired these I was working on NO food, a couple hours of sleep and tooo much caffeine. I am surprised I stay settled enough to keep it on the paper.
