Check out the Leupold Vari-XIII series.  I have a 4.5-14x50 with a fine duplex reticle.  It works great.  Really bright, really clear.

The Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x Long Range M3 Illuminated with mildot reticle.  Mouth full huh?  I love mine, I may sell the rifle, but not the scope.

I have a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 Long Range M3 w/illuminated reticle (model 53672) and I'm very happy with it.  Illumination is no good in the sunshine (obviously) but is way cool at dusk.
