[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need a chronograph

I would like to get one to check out my handloads. It needs to be as trouble free as possible. It just need to take the average of groups, SD and ES. Please recomend one. I have no expierience with these. Thamks Jay

I bought a Gamma model as even being the top-of-the-line model it cost about $40 more than the lowest model. The remote ability is nice as I can have the screens set-up 10 feet down range and have the remove and display sitting next to me to see better.

Chrony (brand name) Gamma Master. About $150 with printer from Midsouth Shooters Supply. The Beta Master is also pretty good, less than $100 from Midsouth (no printer - but it has a remote display).

I have a Beta Master - wish I could have got the Gamma (printer & permanent memory would have been nice).
