Brouhaha, you can stuff plastic shopping bags in that gap in the lower right hand corner, it will keep your mags from getting banged up in transit.

720 rounds ready to go

Thats 780 rounds assuming full thirty-rounders.

The two Thermolds in the pic aren't loaded... though I do have one fully loaded in another location for testing purposes. If there's no measurable deformation after a year I may load them too. The USGIs have been fully loaded for 3 years now - no problems.

That would require opening a new battlepack, which I would rahter leave sealed

GI_Brat,
My setup looks identical to yours except my collection is all 30s except for 5 20s.

I don't have any sheets that color though.
Link Posted: 4/20/2002 8:46:38 PM EDT
I have the same as before.

Link Posted: 4/20/2002 8:55:34 PM EDT
Brou, you NEED to open another battle pack to load that mag, so you can JUSTIFY getting MORE mags!!

Wont keeping those magazines loaded all the time eventually ruin the springs?

It is the loading and unloading that weekens mag springs. It is said that leaving them loaded will not hurt them.

I myself don't store all my mags loaded. That is what they make stripper clips for, IMO
