Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FAR-15 HELP!!!

I'm looking for a standard AR type rifle that's really light.  Unfortunatly the only ones I've found is the Carbon-15 (which really isn't standard at all) and the FAR-15 (which is).  The FAR-15 is made by Olympic Arms.  My concern is that my friend at my local gun store says that Oly Arms is not really known for quality.  If anyone knows anything or actually owns the FAR-15, please let me know.  I need to know whether or not to spend $700 - $800!  Which is a lot for me.
