What is the best way to grip an AR with a free floating barrel?

Just palm the foregrips? Also is using the sling a detriment to accuracy?

In accurate rifle shooting, the idea is to use as few muscles as possible.  Don't grip the tube, let it rest against the open hand.  Use the sling!!
