| Got 3 stainless steel pistol mags that would be nice if they were black like the factory mags is. What will hold up best for this application ? |
| What type of gun are you referring to? Tolerances are a big deal and some guns have very tight mag well, others have some give. If it's a combat or self defense gun, too thick of a coating could cause the mag to hang during emergency reloads and not drop properly. I've have applied Duracoat to mags with success. The trick is, not to lay it on too thick or apply an excessive amount of layers. Micrometers of added thickness could cause problems. Just my two cents, good luck. |
