Hello all. I'm new to the forum. Just got into the ar seen. I got a Mossberg 715t for my son and he wanted me to paint it camo. I bought the Krylon camo rattle cans and took a shot. I don't think it camo out too bad. Tell me what you think.
Here is the gun before I started. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m56/FishingBuddy2/Mobile%20Uploads/632DB92F-0EB3-479B-B58C-0F67C8FD66F5.jpg Here is a pic of the painting progress. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m56/FishingBuddy2/Mobile%20Uploads/B332B127-2F8B-4470-B938-1ABF8F9759F7.jpg And the final pic of gun after reassembly. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m56/FishingBuddy2/Mobile%20Uploads/5A0ADAC9-EE04-4A3A-93BB-78B97EDAD49E.jpg I look forward to practicing more on some other things then maybe tackling a full ar. Thanks for looking. |

Actually not too shabby! Can't get too fancy without stencils using a rattle can but for your first attempt well done! Mike Thank you. I would like to try the stencil method but would know where to start. I saw a post earlier where a guy used stencils and it was really awesome. |

a little dark in my opinion. What part of Texas are you in? even east Texas I would focus more on Brown and tan. Denton county north west of Dallas. This was done for my son. He is learning to shoot and handle a gun. That picture doesnt do it justice. If it was for me, definitely more browns and tans. I have to agree. Thanks for the comment. |
