The RAL8000 paired with foliage, gray and the 50 shades of FDE camouflages surprisingly well here in NC.
I'm going to have to re-spray it pretty soon. All the dark colors are rubbing off of the upper and the black anodizing is breaking through on the lower. I kind of like the look, but if I let it go long enough there won't be enough paint on it to justify it being in this thread

Here is a good example of heavy VS light coats of Rustoleum Khaki and Earth Brown.
Top rifle was completely coated in a thick coat of Khaki first then mesh applied and Earth Brown sprayed on. Bottom was dusted with Khaki then mesh applied and dusted with Earth Brown. I totally dig the dusting look. It lets the Black show through and gives it a different tint.

What I've been noticing, both in pictures and in person, is that the average 'flat' paint isn't very flat, and reflects more light than any flat color should.
Does anyone know of a spray-can 'flat' type paint that doesn't reflect? Once in my life I've seen a flat-black car that actually seemed to absorb most light - it was a high-end, larger Mercedes AMG that was done to the 9's (perhaps by the factory?), and was a 'real' flat black. |

These are the colors I used on my Noveske for the “Bazooka Green” color they came out with. The rustoleum satin green is the color I believe I used by itself. The rest are the ones I mixed on my deer rifle.
