Anyone have the name of a facility for titanium nitride coating of firearms parts?
The gold tint/shade is what I am interested in. Thanks! G. |

Ionbond did a CrN(PVD) coating back on 9/31/08 for me. The Tool and Die shop I worked in at the time did a lot of work with them. They charged me 100 bucks to coat a receiver(bolt too). The salesman said that they would normally charge about 500, but since we did so much work with them they would cut me a break.
I believe TiN is also a PVD service, so it will be expensive to do. This might not help you but nobody else gave an answer 
Look up Springer Precision LLC, they don't list TiN, but still give them a call. |
