Is cerakote a substution for hard anodization.. in regards to receivers?
I think the answer is no but someone is claming it is 12 times stonger. |

To follow up on my above link.
You will hear both. NIC (cerakote) and many others say that you must blast the piece and do it in the white every time. Others (Like LWRC in the link) say that they cerakote over the anodizing. Whatever you do, completely degrease, including pre warming and an acetone bath. Prep work is everything. |
