| Not sure best palce to post this, so I will give it a shot here. Friend gave me a Savage 99 in .300 Savage a while ago. It shows a lot of honest use--i.e,, it was a working rifle, was rode hard, and put away wet. It sports a Waever 4X Alaskan(I am pretty sure). It has two spots of rust I just can't seem to get ahead of. Does this scope have ANY collectors value, does the rifle have any collector's value, or should I go ahead, and refinsh the scope, wood, and metal? |
