Ive got a new marlin 795, which is a semi-auto 22 much like the rugers. I have a scope on it and plan to keep it that way so I have spent hours filling the dovetail slot and the screw hole from the sights. Now, i have 2 big spots of raw steel on the barrel from polishing the fillings smooth. So, i have decided to duracoat it. But i have two questions.
-I already have the spray gun in this link laying around unused. Is this suitable for duracoating? Touch Up Air Spray Gun -What grade of sand paper should i use for the metal parts like the barrel and the aluminum action, and for polymer parts like the stock. |
