I'm looking for a dual action, gravity fed brush to Duracoat with.
I've searched all over the place I know you get what you pay for, but I don't wanna spend a fortune. I'm just going to be doing this for fun for now I'm looking about $75 or so Amazon has a ton but it seems like none of them have any reviews and the ones that do are bogus. Any suggestions? |

Unless you are going to do fine detail work you do not need double action single action will do the job. I purchased a paasche kit at Amazon that had almost everything you will need

What he said. I went out and got a very nice Iwata airbrush when they were on sale this last Christmas at Hobby Lobby and I still ended up paying $100 for it. Turns out it's a bit overkill for working with single solid colors on firearms. Now if I was going to be doing custom artwork and such it would be perfect. Also, you really want to use a siphon feed airbrush for large rifles or multiple guns that will use the same paint. Those gravity feed brushes don't hold much material, so you may find yourself having to stop, remix, and refill all while your half done weapon is starting to dry. |

Yeah most of what I've seen gravity fed containers are normally around 9cc
I've just heard a lot of bad feeding issues with siphon fed as opposed to gravity For now I plan on sticking with solid colors but I want to move toward some of the camo jobs like the other threads 'Preciate the feedback |

I used to work with airbrushed everyday. If the viscosity is good I like the siphon fed better. Much easier to control the flow. I have a Pasche Double Action that I used once. If you are interested I will ship it to you for $25.00 Let me know. |
