[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Dipping your scope?

I understand the risks, just wondering if it's like the surgeon general's smoking warning, or if the chances of ruining my Accupoint are too high for the overall benefit. Does anyone here have success or failure stories that they can share before I have this thing shipped out? Thanks everyone.
