Friend of mine has a business doing powdercoating. Anyhow is it advised to PC the receivers, barrel and buffer tube. The lower would be stripped and then assembled after the powdercoating. Other then having to clean out the rollpin holes. Any reason why it's no good to do?

I'm certainly no expert on powder coating, but I do know it is a lot thicker than paint and is a bitch to remove. And even if you managed to mask off, or clean off all the pin/screw holes, you still have the scope rails and various other areas of the receivers that can be seen when fully assembled that will not agree with such a thick coating. You could do the barrel and the buffer tube without too many issues, but it doesn't seem worth the effort if the receivers won't be done as well.
