| My parents are having an old black walnut cut down in their yard. I would like to have a rifle stock made from it and I was wonder if anyone knew of a stock manufacturer that would use supplied wood, especially in Tx to save on shipping? I am willing to bet that I will have around 10 feet of good trunk that is at least 1' in diameter to work with. |

Make sure the blank is dry before you have it carved into a stock. Dying can take some time depending on climate.
