Friend gave me an Old, & I mean Old! Springfield Model 15 single shot .22 .
It seems to function & the bore has minor pitting, the stock is in sad shape with a crack running the length.
I tried glass beading on the roll marks & patent #, didn't get to far because the glass bead is nasty & the vapor build up in the compressor turns the media into fine clumps.
I'm only using a cheap $14 spot blaster from Harbor Freight, can't see buying a $300 cabinet for a $15 shooter.
The Roll marks came up nice as did the numbers, but with the constant clogs it's a bit frustrating.
There are 2 medias I currently use, 70 grit Aluminum Oxide & Glass Bead (Fine)

So here it is,
Why does the 70 grit Alum Ox flow at 90 PSI & the Glass Bead does not?
Is there water vapor in the line?

Glass Beading is nasty by the way, even covered head to toe that stuff will find a way in. buy a good respirator.
