I plan on shipping an upper and lower to Victor at US Anodizing.  Just like sending a gun for repair I can ship it directly to them and they can intern ship it directly back to me.  Correct?

Victor told me that a lower or firearm would be shipped to an FFL, even if it was in my possession.
Which kind of confused me because the firearm is already under my name. I didn't ask why, but I'm sure a competent  FFL will fill you in on details.

as long as they have an FFL, you can ship it directly to him and he can ship it directly back to you.

Their site says they are.  Good deal.

I just went through this process with Victor at US Anodizing.  You can ship your lower to him becuase they have the FFL and the lower is already registered in your name.  And, he can ship it back to you as well.  It does not have to go through an FFL on the way back to you.  The only time it would have to go through an FFL both ways is if it is a home built lower, such as an 80% lower that you finished.
