That is a good question. Eventually, I am sure it would. Especially if you used a very aggressive media.
I have tumbled some small rusted parts. They cleaned up fairly well. Its worth a try. If it doesn't work, you haven't lost anything but a few hours electricity. FWIW, I used a small plastic bottle about a third full of media to polish the parts I tumbled. |
