I have a lower that is looking worn and discolored what is the best method for bringing her back to the natural black .

I refinished a couple lowers during the ban with that.  It worked great.

Strip the lower.  Follow the assembly instructions in the Build it yourself section and work backwards.  Keep an eye on anything under spring tension.  Wear safety glasses.

Thoroughly degrease.  I'd recommend submersing it in acetone.

Find a suitable spray area.

Get some stainless steel wire and hang the lower.  The receiver extension hole works, as does the trigger hole (and numerous others).  Spray with brake cleaner.

Apply Brownells matte black aerosol Gun Kote according to the video directions on the website.  One can will be plenty.  *THIN* layers only, or else it will run.

Bake it in the oven when the wife is gone.  It stinks like hell.
