I did the electrolysis process to restore a post hole digger (mounts on a tractor and will drill a 12" diameter hole 48" deep) that was all rusted up. It worked great and the phd looks as good as new. Quite simple once you get used to the process. Baking soda + water + scrap + piece to restore + battery charger = fun with chemistry. I never tried it, but several people told me a welder will greatly speed up the process. (think buzz box, not mig) Good luck with it. |
