Hey all!
Im Osman from Turkey as a newbie in AR15.com.
As you may heard AR based shotguns are produced in Turkey.
They are Safir .410 shotshell firearms with 10 magazine capacity.
As AR's they are very accurate and have low recoil.
The website of the company is Safir

As you may kindly understand I am have a mental addiction to AR's and when I saw DuraCoat finishes on web I turned out to be crazy.
I talked with a friend about it and he offered to set up an home workshop to finish Safir's in DuraCoat.
As far as I search for the information in forums (especially in AR15.com) I understand that it is very easy to apply.
I made a list of needs on my on and here I kindly ask your assistance in tools and finish products list.
I listed the tools;
HVLP paint pistol set
Blasting machine
Air pressure pistol
Stencil knife
Adhesive tape
Camo Templates
Mask
Gloves
Finish owen

For the finishing products I listed;
TruStrip to degrease
Zinc Phosphate to parkerize the metals I degrease and blasted
LCW Rust and Blue remover (actually I don't know if there is such a finish on AR to be removed)
DuraCoat
DuraCoat clear to make the last job

and there is a DuraPhos which I actually have no idea to do with.

Thanks a lot already for your kind helps and assistance.
Greetings from Turkey.

You don't necessarily need an oven to cure DuraCoat.  It will air cure over time.

If you are planning on using a blaster (use aluminum oxide, 160 grit) you don't need any of the above things I highlighted. Those are for either removing or repairing finishes. If you plan to paint things, no need to fix them.

And there are a LOT more things that you will need. Minor things of little expense, but will make the job a TON easier to do.

This could turn into a long email. If you have questions on Duracoating, email me @

Best of luck from the USA!

Welcome to the site.

A .410 AR would be nice.

Thanks a lot to all commented especially to you! I removed thos things from the list hinkDuraCoat EZ Camo Kit will be enough with DuraCoat clear right?
So I will sand, degrease and use EZ Camo Kit. But will that airbrush be good?
And can you please explain me those a LOT things here? Because I gave the link of this topic to many Safir owner friend of me and they will take benefit of your suggestions too.
Thanks again a lot.
