Norrell's has held up well for me...thermal cure helps.

I haven't done any experiment with various products, but, I have used Brownells Aluma Hyde 2 and it works very well, has held up great.

I personally use nothing but duracoat. My mentor taught me how to use it properly and I haven't had one problem as of yet.

It's all in the prep work.

If it's prepped properly, the coating should last you many lifetimes...
