[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rust-oleum foliage

The CTR, MIAD, rail covers and sling are factory foliage in color.
The mag and the LaRue FUG has been painted with Rust-oleum Camo Deep Forest Green. Not a bad match for the foliage color that others use.

That's a really good match. I wonder if you could make it even closer with a lighter base color before you spray the Rust-oleum...

That is with a light base color underneath. The magazine and the FUG where what I painted. The other parts are factory foliage.

First attemp with Rust-oleum Army Green...

And final with Rust-oleum Deep Forest Green sprayed over the above.

Liked the Army Green but its just too light a color for what goes for as foliage color parts. The Deep Forest is a little dark but a much better match.

your mag and fug needs a touch more gray otherwise not bad.
