i have  a kahr 9mm (p9) with a stainless slide that looks dingy, and old.  is there some product that i can put on the slide and restore the luster of the slide.  i don't want to sand or polish the slide just get it looking nice again

We clean up stainless at work with a bit of steel wool and WD-40.
