thinking on getting some of my beat up receivers refinished with Teflon (usanodising does it, xtremcoating..).

Anybody got pictures of Teflon receivers ? probably getting some in flat black and OD green.

Thanks !!

Mega finishes their receivers with black teflon after the anodizing.  The "OD Green" teflon finishes I've seen have NOT been very close to actual OD Green.  Make sure you check out a sample first to make sure they are tracking with you on the colors.

awesome !! thanks for the pictures..it looks good. Did yo uhave the mag done as well ? is it some kind of "flat black" teflon finish ?

Yes, I had the mags done too, but they are super slick, almost too much making them slip out of your hands.

Keep in mind, I completely disassembled the rifle myself and mailed the parts to him.  Every single part of this rifle is teflon coated except the springs, the chamber and bore, and the buffer.  If I were doing it over again, I would only do these parts:
INSIDE of upper receiver
carrier
charging handle
bolt key
bolt cam pin
bolt
extractor
firing pin
magazine release
magazine release button
selector
hammer

At first, I didn't put a single drop of lube on this rifle, because oil won't stay on teflon.  I would put a drop of oil on a part and it would run down with none remaining on the part.  Now, after about 1,000 rounds, the teflon has been worn away on some of the high friction parts, like on the face of the bolt locking lugs, and the underside of the carrier that contacts the hammer, and the bolt cam pin.  Once I noticed this I started putting some CLP on those parts.

The rifle has never malfunctioned.

Yes, I have a Browning A-bolt II Stainless that is teflon'ed, and my dad has Ruger M77 Mark II in Stainless, also teflon'ed by Black Ice
