Anyone considered putting these in an RPNVG housing?

IDK how well that would work given the reported tight eyebox and eye relief of the boomslangs.

The RPNVG (and any other panning system) benefits greatly from the forgiving nature of milspec pvs14 glass. Filmless tubes are also better for panning applications due to the edge clarity.

But, I’m still just as curious as you. If the boomslangs did work well panned then it would make for a pretty badass bino.
