Does anyone have pictures of the portion they filed down for better fit? I don't have one in front of me, so not sure how obvious it is.

If you are referring to cutting the sides off to fit between rails, here is how I did mine:

Just basically cut the majority off with a dremil cut-off wheel, then took a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface and kept rubbing back and forward until it was flat/uniform.
