I recently got a nightcap with a VAS shoud, it does not fit my norotos mount. I have a used USGI rhino and j-arm, but much prefer the norotos with a dual dovetail. Is there any way to either make the dual dovetail fit the rhino mount or switch the backing plate on the norotos mount to go in to a USGI or VAS shroud?
I would like something less wobbly on my nightcap an not have to switch the j-arm for the dual dovetail on my NOD wen I switch between headgears. pics for better understanding

I think this will solve my problem
but I'm not sure and don't want to order a $70 piece without being sure I would also need to get a new mount for my ballistic, but that is doable for real cheap |

I won't be able to verify until next week though. Crazy. I just went through this as I have a TATM mount as well. Got the shroud with it. Whole thing was dirt cheap. 
Bought a Team Wendy LTP Bump.... Mounts don't match. 
Started looking, stumbled on that part. Called TNVC they said that part is what I need to convert. I bought it literally 5 min ago from them (along with some Telluric Group targets). I'm cheap though, so it won't be here till next week. 
I'll let you know if it works with a Wilcox Shroud then. ETA: will also be buying a new shroud for night cap. Pics inbound |

It looks like we had the same issue... I've been staring at my mounts for about an hour to figure out what should be changed... I would much rather have the TATM mount than the RHINO or anything that uses a bayonet j-arm, so I think I will be ordering this as well. I prefer the dovetail to the bayonet j-arm, but prefer the VAS shroud to the smaller Norotos, plus it has the advantages of working with many more mounts.
ETA, ordered, I know they will be gone to shot show for the week, I hope they will still be shipping |

Their website says orders will not be shipping until the 25th. Ugh, I was hoping to get in before the shipping freeze. I knew I should have ordered on Sat.

Well, UNV are showing none in stock and aren't answering the phone. The thing that really irks me is I don't know if TNVC even has them in stock and will have to wait a full week to even find out. |

I got my TATM for close to nothing and had an extra Rhino mount around. A trip to the drill press and this is still holding up well - I do use a lanyard all the time
The 3rd hole on the TATM mount is not possible since it will require drilling in to the latch mechanism for the Rhino plate.

(I didn't do it the first time and the lock button wouldn't depress the whole way.) It's really nice to have my TATM back, now I need to shop for a mount for my CVC |
