I've got an Ops-Core Base Jump helmet and a PVS-14.

The standard j-arm and RHNO II mount work alright (ER adjustment is great), but when I pull the NOD down to my face I sometimes bump the lever on the j-arm disengaging it from the mount... good thing for safety lanyards.

So I decided to upgrade to a dovetail system and chose the Wilcox G24 and the Wilcox arm. But sure enough, I can't get the NOD close enough to my eye... it's way off.

From what I've read, the Wilcox arm (w/ on-off switch) places the NOD 1/8" closer, but if that's the case it's still going to be too far out. Plus I have to deal with that dang switch.

What the hell?? Do I try the new Norotos LoSto with the Wilcox arm, or maybe just the Norotos RHNO II Dovetail mount?

The DDA doesn't interest me because of the odd orientation... not sure if it would help anyway.

In search of a simple solution here.
