I am having a problem with the right angle remote cable on my DBAL I2 coming off during firing. The cable plug just backs out of the plug hole.
Is this a common problem or is there something wrong with the cable? I am looking for tips on how to correct this other than just duct taping it to the DBAL. |

Supposedly, you can shave/sand the back of the plug to get it to sit deeper. It does help, but I've just never trusted it. So I use a strip or two of bicycle inner tubing to secure it and have never had it back out since. I will give that a try. Since you mention it, I think I have heard this before. Would it be possible for you to post a picture. Thanks I appreciate your reply. |

I bought some stick on velcro pads, trimmed them down to little squares and put them on the body of the DBAL above and below the port hole. Pillaged a velcro strap from my laptop (the strap that keeps the cord folded up nicely) and there ya have it. Holds it in place perfectly, and doesn't look that ugly. |

Yeppers, a known issue with the SF plug not sitting deep enough. Here is a snap shot of the mod I did. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v621/Clutch99/SFpressureSwitches_zpsc399c5eb.jpg Vic Quoted:

Also, do the Steiner pressure switches TNVC sell have the same issues as the SF? Thanks for the reply and photo post. |

Steiner switches do not have this issue, only the SF ones. We've told SF about this and red-lined a few drawings to show the problem area. For note, our new T.A.P.S. system will not have any of these issues. Vic |
