[ARCHIVED THREAD] - x400v problems.

Took my brand new PVS14 out for a spin for the first time and my damn X400v had issues functioning. I would place the lazer with light on constant on. Every time I shot it the lazer turned off.

Any explanation? Sig MK25 was what was being used. Is everyone else's x400v running like a top?

I never fired mine with it constantly on.

Are you saying that it internally kicks off or the switch doesn't stay in the constant on position?

It would stay in the constant on position but the laser would turn off.

Mine doesnt do that, might want to email Surefire customer service.

When switche to constant on (it stays on without touching it) it should not turn off or flicker when shot. Contact surefire for repair or replacement.

I've noticed quite a few crappy tail caps coming with my X300's lately (2 to be exact). Some that turn off during recoil or one side being way tougher to activate than the opposite side.

I usually order a new one through the rapid replacement feature and get one that fixes it.
